Our First Thoughts About Colonial Life
Indians helped with knowledge of how to grow crops
There was a war between the Indians and the settlers
settlers lived on the boat sometimes
had to clear the land to put houses up
they were squished together on the boat like sardines
fought in wars
lot of the people had to deal with sick people on the boat
traveled alone (on land)
someone who lives in a colony
had to figure out what plants were good to eat
had to make new clothing
no houses
no streets
no towns
no horses
was like their normal living but in a different country
Hard work from morning to bedtime
